Band Drama

RC and Chauncey have formed a rad new band, the Barnstormers. Unfortunately, the inevitable drama has already begun. Chauncey just ended a practice with the words, "There are a few things we need to talk about..."

Impending shark attack

We are underwater here and awaiting the arrival of a master diver to free us from our watery grape. Nothing works. All is lost. All is forgotten.

Gone for Thanksgiving

I went to Joshua Tree for Thanksgiving and Pico was left alone. RC Koala made friends with her and even gave her some treats. RC Koala and Pico have been friends in the past, but her memory for friendships is quite short, only a few days. So people usually have to become her friend many times before they are permanent friends.

Spin Cycle

So I was doing some laundry yesterday. RC Koala magnanimously moved my things to the dryer after I left for the bar-thanks!!

I was pretty convinced our washer was broken because it wasn't spinning when it pointed to spin. It was just sitting there. There was a little noise that I (mis)-identified as a motor trying to spin. The end of the story is that I turned the knob back to rinse and started it again and it was fine. An RC Koala's laundry was fine too, no spin problems. I think it was just waiting for a minute and I was impatient.

how bout an emergency kit?

I thought it might be a good idea to take one of my extra cooler, put it under the table by the front door and fill it with emergency supplies like food and water. Thoughts?

RC Koala is Hungry

And no longer angry. Because he accepts that every house member is on their own schedule. And they accept that if they don't actually blog a whole bunch eventually, he will not like them anymore and will cry all over them and will stain their shoes because I will put ink on my eyes.

Because I haven't written on the blog enough. I'm really proud and esteemed that our little blog has inspired such emotion in a housemate. However, I would like to clarify that sometimes people have a few very busy days where they don't have the time or love in their hearts for blogging. More often than not, those very same people will come around and post like crazy after these days are over.

New Year's Eve

There is a heated debate at the house about the possibility of hosting a New Year's Eve party. Comments are being accepted, but please, no death threats.

It has come to my attention that much mayhem has ensued since my last posting. Do not know the extent or the details yet, but it appears as if there may be unauthorized chair reupholstering, heater repair, and Netscape Navigator 1.4 browsing sessions all taking place under our very noses. Let the culprits know that it remains the policy of our wise King Woolsey III not to compromise with any person, on any issue, for any reason.

Temperature Troubles

The house is cold. The heater in my room requires no fewer than 9 steps to light it. They involve at least three knobs, one of which I can't locate. And I can't open the main gas valve. Comments are now being accepted from experts on 1930's era Honeywell gas heaters.

That Time RC Koala Changed my Post

Yeah. That last post, about the history of King Woolsey. It was originally mine. And a "housemate" of mine erased my entire post and wrote something else. That isn't even true.

History of King Woolsey

King Woolsey III (1641-1652) was born in 1641. He died, mysteriously, in 1652. Some say his death was the result of poor hygiene.
